Visonicom IF101R-20 industrial Fast Ethernet media converter is an industrial fiber transceiver with a 100Mbps single-mode single-fiber 20km SC fiber port and a 10/100Mbps adaptive RJ45 port for convenient network migration and expansion in harsh industrial environment. Large backplane and large cache switching chip are preferred to improve the forwarding rate of large files.

It provides fiber connectivity to Ethernet segments, allowing even greater networking expansion between extended workgroups. It also provides building-to-building connectivity without the need for the cost and disruption associated with the installation of additional routers. With its rugged, protective, IP40-rated aluminum alloy housing, the industrial media converter operates reliably, even in extreme temperatures from -40 to 85ºC (-40 to 185ºF). In combination with its DIN-rail mounting option and two safe redundant DC power inputs with plenty of other safety features, this transceiver is ideal for IoT applications in Industry 4.0 and more. Finally, it is totally plug and play, no configuration required.
